Grounding for Health and Success

Since most people are not in their own skin most of the time, learning to make a habit of grounding into your physical body will put you at a huge advantage.  After practicing the following grounding exercise and learning what it felt like to be in my body, it became very obvious when I was not!
I started making a habit of focusing my attention on my body anytime I felt a sense of anxiousness or caught myself over-thinking. Very quickly, I noticed greater stamina in challenging situations and a boost in my capacity to discern which choices would strengthen or drain my energy….

Take a moment to close your eyes and take 5 deep breaths into your abdomen, all the way down to the base of your spine.  Bring your attention to the base of your spine and imagine a bright white ball of light about the size of a golf ball centered at this point.  Extending from this ball of light straight down into the Earth is a beam of equally intense white light.  Use your intention to move this beam all the way down until you sense it connect with the Earth’s iron core.  This same iron is part of what composes your red blood cells (RBCs).  Sense the affinity of your physical being with this iron core of the Earth.  Feel the vibration of your blood cells begin to match that of the Earth.  Invite a harmonic grounding-support-imageconvergence in this connection.  Begin to see and feel this ball of light expand to the size of a grapefruit.  As it does, the beam connecting you to the Earth’s nourishing, supportive energy expands to match this.  Continue to see and feel this expand till its as big as your pelvic bowl (the bony structure you feel when placing your hands on your hips).  Feel the resonance of the Earth’s energy rising up through tis grounding cord and infusing your whole body (your physical body and your auric field).  Feel the bottoms of your feet on the floor and open the chakras at the soles of you feet.  Breath up the energy of the Earth and feel its unending support.
Grounding exercises like these are the quickest way to get into your body fully.  When your spirit is fully embodied, your sense of ease will increase dramatically, your discernment about what is serving you will become much more clear and you will be able to engage others from a space of empowerment and inner peace.
